The NSRF 2021-2021 "Competitiveness" program offers a fresh opportunity for recent graduates who wish to enter the world of entrepreneurship. The initiative "Starting out in Business" offers university graduates a subsidy to either start their occupation or finance a new business.

The offered subsidy amounts to 13.000 € for a sole proprietorship and 21.000€ for a business. The money offered is expected to cover costs for eighteen months of operation. The initiative marks as eligible a very wide spectrum of expenses and the program also subsidizes labour costs with an additional 15.000 € provided that at least one full time position is created.

Eligible activity codes comprise many sectors of the economy, including wholesale, manufacturing, professional and technical services, IT, health, construction, education and other specialized services.

The submission deadline is set for June 30, 2026.
