The Region of Western Greece, within the framework of the “Western Greece” program of the NSRF 2021-2027, has announced the initiative “Modernization of Small Entrepreneurship in Western Greece 2025”. The action subsidizes 50% of investment projects that aim at the development and widespread adoption of new technologies, digital transformation, growth, extroversion, and the circular economy.

Beneficiaries of the initiative are small and medium-sized enterprises that have been active for at least one fiscal year before submitting the application. The proposed investment projects must be carried out within the Region of Western Greece and should be related to at least one of the eligible Activity Categories mentioned in the call. Indicatively:

• Legal and Accounting Services,
• Scientific Research and Development,
• Wholesale and Retail,
• Food Industry,
• Production of goods (e.g. Textile Industry),
• Construction (e.g. Buildings, Electrical Equipment),
• Accommodation, and
• Catering Services.

Investment plans may start as low as €5,000 and reach up to €120,000. Eligible expenses include:

• Construction costs,
• Procurement of equipment (core equipment, office equipment, software, means of transportation within the premises),
• Procurement of services (acquisition of certifications, product and service design, corporate identity design, business promotion, participation in exhibitions),
• Preparation of business plans, etc.
