Starting today (23/4/25), applications are open for the initiative 2.1.1 "Productive Investments in Aquaculture" of the "Fisheries, Aquaculture and the Sea" (PALYTH) 2021-2027 Program. Beneficiaries of the subsidies from this initiative are enterprises and producer organizations in the Aquaculture sector.
Through this initiative, investment projects with a budget ranging from €40,000 to €4,000,000 are subsidized, at a rate of 50% to 100%. These projects would involve a wide range of investments that aim, among other things, to increase the sustainability and productivity of aquaculture in Greece. Indicatively, such investment projects may include budgeted expenses for the establishment or expansion of facilities, for enhancing the environmental sustainability of the production process, for reducing operating costs and/or developing complementary activities. The action is financed with resources from the European Maritime, Fisheries and Aquaculture Fund (EMFF) with a total budget of €71,000,000. The scheduled application deadline is 30/6/2025.
